About NEEM-iceblog

To understand future climate better glaciologists from the Center for Ice and Climate at the Niels Bohr Institute will drill through the inland ice in North West Greenland. The drilling is scheduled for the period of 2007-2011. Before the drilling can begin, a caravan of three caterpillars will ship equipment from the former camp at NorthGRIP to the new site in North West Greenland.

    Dear NEEM Team,

I am following your progress with great interest, as I write weekly research news updates for VECO Polar Resources’ newsletter, field notes. I enjoy the blog very much as it gives arm-chair researchers such as I a glimpse of your life on the ice.

I noticed you have a picture page, and I’m interested in publishing some of your images in field notes (free to all and web-published at http://www.vecopolar.com). How should I go about securing permission and credit information?

Best of luck to you on your caterpillar (and cruiser) crawl across the ice sheet.
